    • merging of configure -- constant conflicts
      • Options
        1. manually merge
        2. automatted autoconf/merge shell function
        3. remove configure from git, and create a makefile.git or similar script
      • hardaker will look into detecting that the configure script is the only thing changed
      • will put autoconf versioning on the next agenda
