Both these trees are designed to report things you ask it to report
on. If you don't declare anything in the snmpd.conf
file for it to
monitor, it will not report anything. See the snmpd.conf(5)
manual page and the EXAMPLE.conf
file for details on configuring the agent.
Optionally, run
snmpconf -g monitoring
to help you set up this
section of the snmpd.conf
file.
