I can't load any of the mib files, and they seem to be missing the first two characters of the filename. What's happening?

This is a problem experienced with Sun systems when the tools have been compiled with a mixture of BSD and Solaris environments. You'll need to re-configure and compile the tools, making sure that '/usr/ucb' is not in your PATH (or at least comes at the end).
