    • AIX issues causing problems.
    • resolution: rc3 today and final next monday, regardless of whether AIX has been fixed or not.
  • 5.2.x -- tabled till after 5.5
    • dts12 wants to publish 5.2.x and 5.4.x at the same time
    • dts12 will publish both at once
    • Wes wants the next 5.2 to be the last

• Coding Issues
  • dropping 64bit support of OIDs -- magfr
    • magfr: sees no issues
    • agreed: put in trunk after 5.5 for 5.6 devel is out

  • Previous Thoughts:
    • general foreboding, no extensive good ideas on where to go in part because many things feel fairly "complete" and extensions/modules are all that is missing
    • easy to use client side APIs could use improvement
    • syslog/SNMP mappings (being standardized) would be a good thing to look at
  • Other thoughts:
    • disman alarm MIB
    • rmon
    • help instrument other packages
    • easy wrapped main library couters and generic interface
      • lib: increment_counter(NETSNMP_COUNTER_NOSUCHCONTEXT)
      • agent: register_counter(NETSNMP_COUNTER_NOSUCHCONTEXT)
    • Restructuring library code
      • discussion surrounding
        • compat library?
        • regression suite?
        • move functionality around before changing functionality
        • define what we want the user to see first
    • mib parser could use some love (re: default value parsing)
